Love Is

I wanted to include a song as a playable link – but I need to upgrade my WordPress plan. Until I do this, I include a link to a You Tube video of The Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel. Click this link before or after reading my poetic prayer / my prayerful poem below.

Kelvin M. Knight

Love is you; Love is me.

Love is here; Love is there.

Love is silence; Love is prayer.

Love is music; Love is song.

Love is people getting along.

Love is yours; Love is mine.

Love is caring; Love is divine.

Love is creative; Love is creation.

Love is fullness; Love is emptiness.

Love is weakness; Love is strength.

Love is deaf; Love hears everything.

Love is blind; Love sees everything.

Love feels everything.

Love is sharing; Love is loss.

Love is pleasure; Love is pain.

Love listens; Love understands.

Love is gentle; Love is a raging river.

Love is powerful; Love is perseverance.

Love is compassionate; Love is disappointment.

Love is courageous; Love is homely.

Love is athletic; Love is lame.

Love is crazy; Love is calm.

Love is your balm.

Love is lonely.

Love is holding tight; Love is letting go.

Love is always finding time.

Love is never being alone.

Love is concern; Love is sadness.

Love is kindness; Love is gladness.

Love is generosity; Love is joyfulness.

Love is subtle; Love is patience personified.

Love is welcoming; Love is the eternal sacrifice.

Love is alive.

Love never dies.

Love is your truth.

This love for everyone.

This love for you and me.

First and foremost I am a reader, then a storyteller. My reading tastes are eclectic. My writing can focus around the intimacy of closed settings and may tend towards characters who might be hiding something from themselves.
